Curious about what’s come out of DigIT Hub Sweden?

After three years of collaboration, experiments, and digital transformation work across Southern Sweden, we’re bringing it all together for DigIT Hub Sweden Day – a day of shared results, lessons learned (the good and the messy), and a look ahead.

Expect:

Two keynotes that offer completely different lenses on digital transformation.

  • Kenyatta Cheese kicks off the day by asking: “AI is the answer… but what was the question?”
A cultural technologist and co-creator of Know Your Meme, Kenyatta explores how technology is shaped by the people who use it. With experience from audience strategy, internet culture, and public institutions, he brings sharp insights into how we design for participation—and why the human layer matters just as much as the technical one.
  • Elena Malakhatka closes the day with a keynote on Developing Cities’ Digital Layers
As a researcher at Chalmers, Elena focuses on urban transition and sustainable buildings, combining behavioral data, circularity, and digital tools to explore how cities can better understand and serve the people who live in them. It’s about systems, yes – but also daily life, and how we model it better.

Breakout sessions: real stories, concrete results, and honest reflections

Where we dig into what’s actually worked (and what hasn’t) – from future-focused thinking to digital skills that stick. In the afternoon, we’ll split into parallel sessions where different parts of the DigIT Hub Sweden project share what they’ve been working on, and what they’ve learned. These are conversations shaped by practice, not theory.

Some of what you’ll find:

  • Foresight: A way of understanding the now by understanding the future
What is a smart city in 2050, and how do we plan today, without falling for buzzwords?
  • Digital skills that resonate – insights that stick where they matter
What happens when we actually listen to the people we’re trying to reach? A session on co-design, learning-by-doing, and daring to fail smart.
  • More to come – additional themes, speakers and session leads will be announced soon.

Space to connect, reflect, and maybe challenge a few assumptions.

Whether you’ve been involved in the project or just want to see what’s come out of it, you’re welcome to join.
